They are trying to take my payment for school out of the wrong account

I have my bank info several times and last week they tried to take a payment out of my sons account (I used his card one time for application fee) but made it clear over the phone 3 times since July what account I want my payments taken out of cause it's the same account I've used since 2021/2022!l when they put it through to my sons account it caused his account to get all messed up and cause extra fees that I paid for him, he was not happy at all!!

I miss the deadline application

I miss the deadline application , I fill so sad because if I miss the aid

financial, my son cant go to his school, because we cant afford

,and he will be in senior year.

,and I miss the deadline because I was taking caremy husband

after a brain tumor surgery.

Absolute nightmare trying to login and pay

Every time I attempt to log in to my account, it sends me a verification code (which I'm okay with receiving those to protect my account) but it never works. It usually takes me 3-5 attempts before I am able to get logged in. If you are able to use any other platform to manage your school account, do so, because FACTS is absolutely terrible.

Calls consistently for nothing!

This company will harass your phone line. I hope private schools find a better service because this is total garbage.

Do the research. Its one star at best on every single given website and multiple complaints on the Better Business Bureau. This place is a joke. All they do is harass your phone for absolutely no reason.

Asking for multiple levels of private information that they dont need. Definitely not a company to be trusted.

Not user friendly

I despise FACTS management system. My child's school started using it a few years ago and it has given us nothing but trouble.

Every time I log in, it forgets my user ID and password so I have to go through the steps to make a new account. Then, when I finally get in, the information I need isn't there and the school has to fiddle with it to make it show up.

What should take 5 minutes takes days. I don't know why the school uses this because it's absolute rubbish.

I have not reached out. They failed to resolve the issue. I hope this is the last year I need to use them.

I have been having a lot of issues with FACTS this past year. I caught up on all payments in the middle of June.

This was after I made a payment over the phone. The representative said I was all set with my account moving forward into the new school year. My school administrator emailed me, saying our account had been terminated, but they did not initiate the termination. I called FACTS and asked why this was done and how to resolve it.

They said we did not pay the $55 annual fee. I told them I had made a payment in June and was told I was all caught up and in good standing. She said she would need to listen to that call. She kept referring to emails sent before that last payment in June.

I asked if we could focus on the situation after the payment in June, where no notification was sent to me saying my account would be terminated. Eventually, she said I needed to talk to the school. She was unable to help me. She lacked customer service skills.

Their service is horrible, and I can't believe the number of schools using their solution for payments.

There needs to be some alternative. Stay away if you can.

Their mobile website is awful. I went to make a payment on an athletic fee for $101.

Pressed the make a payment button which was on half the screen because the layout is so ridiculous. It paid the entire tuition of $10k. We called immediately and they cannot stop payment. Now we have to make sure our bank account is under to stop the payment and have to pay multiple charges for declined transactions.

Horrible customer service. Im not sure why our school works with them.

Two months have passed and the issue is not resolved. Multiple customer service representatives have not listened; they are quick to brush me off.

This is one of the worst experiences I have had. A Supervisor was super snarky. The prevalent attitude is, 'Oh well,' even though there is a problem somewhere within their system and no one bothers to investigate.

There's no complaint number, no email contact, and no way to even get a resolution. It was a terrible experience.

Preferred solution: For their system to work … for them to figure out why they are “submitting” to my bank only they aren’t… for a representative to take the next step - contact IT, whatever it takes since its service they are supposed to offer.

BIGGEST HEADACHE

FACTS charges for the “convenience” of using their system to pay school tuition. For two months I have been calling simply trying to figure out why my payments are not going through… I lost track of the calls there were so many.

With the exception of 2 Representatives - no one listened, validated my concerns, or took the next step to see what could be the problem. One supervisor even told me to “get another bank” As far as customer service goes my experience was TERRIBLE and there is no where to complain to anyone on website. There were two reps who did try to help but this is out of 10?

The last one I THINK did find the problem (still waiting to make sure) and it was FACTS error. So glad they charge for this convenience.

Poor customer service

Junkie policies, poor customer service. FACTS does not care about customers or education, they care about fees, fees, FEES!

Why do schools still use them? Are there any other companies that offer financial aid? They dont even offer good financial aid. The poor person gets as much as the not poor .not helpful at all.

Staff is extremely rude and unprofessional.

Just continually reads negative responses. No help, no emotion.
